Hamilton Presents new versions of the Original Soldier Watch

The Khaki Field Mechanical is back in fine original form, with new case and dial colors designed to withstand the toughest of conditions. Brand-new NATO straps complement the new palette for a piece of kit fit for life’s adventurers.

Powered by the mighty H-50 handwinding movement with 80-hour power reserve, these rugged and robust new models come in a choice of stainless steel case or stainless steel case treated with Hamilton’s original earth-colored PVD. At 38 mm, they’re true to the original, compact enough to travel wherever you go but large enough to fulfill all timekeeping duties.

A mainstay of military watches, NATO refers to the style of the strap, which loops through the back of the watch head and doubles back on itself to ensure that the watch – even if caught, snagged or loosened – can’t fall off and be lost. It’s a simple yet technical solution that gives military watches extra durability and ensures they’re able to withstand every physical challenge their owners undertake.

In the new collection, Hamilton offers cool camouflage combinations of earth colored cases, green and brown straps, and dials in green, black or white. Each has the original numerals and benefits from Khaki Field night vision thanks to the sand colored Super-LumiNova® for all three hands.

The 2019 Khaki Field Mechanical is authentic, field-tested and perfectly sized. The original soldier’s watch is back – and it’s better than ever.
